TEHRAN -- The Iranian Defense Minister Ali Shamkhani said that nobody should try to make a legend out of the imposed war, its related events and those involved in it.

Shamkhani underlined that the martyrs were not legendary figures but common people who, due to their loyalty to Islam and Imam Khomeini, turned into heroes in the history of this nation.

He added that the sacred defense was not only an epical event but also an event in line with the common sense.
